Fenty beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush. That’s a name 😜…
Let me tell ya… I tried many, many, many cream blushes… And bronzers. But it was a while since I fell instantly in love with a product instantly.
There is literally nothing that I don’t like about thie Fenty Cheeks out cream blush and the Cream bronzer.
I love how easy, both, are to apply, the finish, and the colour. Let me type it again EASY! It’s noobie proof. It’s lazy proof and “I’m constantly in a rush” proof.
If you didn’t figure it out yet, I love makeup. But I’m not good at it, and most of the time, I end up with the same look: eyeliner, a bit of bronzer and blush, and some lipliner/gloss. No contouring for me… No smoky eye (99% of the time), for me. This means that I get obsessed by lipsticks (and all their declinations), and blushes…
Cheeks Out Blush: why I love it
This cream blush manages to make my cheeks look like the most hydrated thing around. The first shade I tried is called “Cool Berry”. Needles to say is my favourite cream blush at the moment. The Fenty’s website describes it as a soft mauve with shimmer. And this is exactly what it is. The shimmer is not too chunky and I could describe it as a warm golden shimmer. I realisd after a couple of uses to realise there was shimmer in it. It won’t make your face look all shimmery.
How I use it
I’m using it with the Fanty Face shaping brush 125, and I really like it. The first time, I applied the Fenty cheeks out blush, I was on a train, and in a rush. I managed to apply it perfectly (or perfectly based on my abilities). I was blown away. I started sending selfied to my friends because I was shocked… Is totally buildable, so if you are more into a more pigmented, TikTok kind of blush style, you can get there.
My skin type
Bare in kind my skin it’s a combination type. More on the dry side in certain areas (around my eyes for example). So maybe, If you have very oily skin, I’m not 100% sure you’ll love it as much as I do. But, I can say that I can’t feel it sitting on my skin. For example, I didn’t enjoy the Kosas check duo blush as much. It was quite emollient and oily, and I was totally feeling it sitting on my skin. It was also tricky for me to use. I end up never using it because I was struggling to blend it.
I also bought from Fenty the cream bronzer in the shade Butta Biscuit. Generally, I don’t like to look super bronzed. I love that subtle, sun-kissed look. That sort of a healthy glow. So this shade works perfectly. Surprisingly I must say. I bought it online and it turned out to be very light. But is still a shade darker than my skin and it is just enough to make me look sun kissed. And thanks to the formula, wherever apply it also makes my skin look smoother and more hydrated. Blends super easily and gives me that glow that I look for, and is never patchy. I’m totally in love. So far this recent purchase, was the most exciting and surprising in a long time. Finally, I understand all the hype around Fenty Beauty.
Currently, I’m also testing the Chanel Lip and Cheeks balm with Red camelia. I think the two products could be compared. A separate review coming. Stay tuned…
