Let me just say that I yet have to see a new launch from Lisa that wasn’t exciting and the product amazing. And again with the Liquid Lurex eyeshadow, she scored another successful lunch (from my point of view). I’m not that much of an eyeshadow aficionado but I decided to try them anyway.
I have only tried two colours: Liquid Lurex in Lauren and Bianca.
I purchased them in two separate moments, Angelica in the pop-up store, back in December. And Bianca later in January. To be honest I first went to the Popup store thinking of buying Bianca but I was convinced by a friend and the sales advisor to go for Angelica. But Angelica for me is more of a full glam or summer days type of liquid eyeshadow look. Bianca, on the other hand, is precisely that touch of light on the eyelids for everyday style. As the name suggests, is not only glitter eyeshadow, because is quite smooth to use and easy to take off at the end of the day. I have used it directly from the applicator and blended it with my fingers.
The Verdict
The staying power is awesome. No creases, quite easy to blend and use with my fingers and I find Lauren quite pigmented. I’m looking forward to seeing if Lisa will come out with more colours, maybe darker ones, with a more friendly undertone for olive skin/medium skin. The only dark one Liza, I was afraid that it would bring out too much of the grey in my skin, so I decided to give it a miss.
